The following is the regulatory activity for Bluewater Gas Storage, LLC (Bluewater). Complete details are available at the Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) Electronic Case Filings website at

05-02-2003   Bluewater filed an application with the MPSC (case number U-13776) requesting a certificate of public convenience and necessity to own and operate a natural gas storage field in Columbus and Wales Townships (St. Clair County, Michigan) and approval of gas storage service rates.
 
07-08-2003   The MPSC granted the requested certificate authorizing Bluewater to construct, own, and operate the Bluewater natural gas storage facility subject to the terms and conditions of the settlement agreement (case number U-13776).
 
10-03-2003   Bluewater filed an application with the MPSC (case number U-13896) requesting authority to construct, own, and operate 24 miles of pipeline in St. Clair County, Michigan. The pipeline facilities include the existing 24 mile Bluewater Pipeline, which was purchased from CMS Energy, as well as additional pipeline connecting the Bluewater Pipeline to the Bluewater storage facility and Great Lakes Pipeline.
 
10-16-2003   Bluewater filed an application with the MPSC (case number U-13926) requesting authority to construct and operate a natural gas pipeline in Macomb County, Michigan (the Vector Interconnect Pipeline).
 
12-30-2003   The MPSC approved a settlement of outstanding issues and granted Bluewater the authority to:
- Own and operate the Bluewater Pipeline.
- Construct and operate the requested additional pipeline facilities.

02-06-2004   Bluewater filed an application with the MPSC (case number U-14023) requesting authority to construct and operate a natural gas pipeline in Macomb County, Michigan (the Mich Con Interconnect Pipeline).
 
05-18-2004   The MPSC granted Bluewater authority to construct and operate pipelines that interconnect with Vector (case number U-13926) and Mich Con (case number U-14023) via the existing Bluewater Pipeline.
 
06-30-2005   Bluewater was granted authority by the MPSC to construct and operate an extension of the Bluewater pipeline to connect to Consumers Energy Company's Ray-Grand Blanc 1900 Pipeline (See case number U-14560).
05-26-2006

Bluewater submitted an Abbreviated Application under Section 7 of the Natural Gas Act for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CP06-351-000) authorizing operation of existing natural gas storage facilities with FERC.

10-27-2006

The FERC issued certificate authorizations to Bluewater granting the authority to charge market-based rates for its storage and hub services (CP06-350, 351,367,368).
